Patch Repair
Mending is better than ending: give your kit a new lease of life with our Patch Repair. Our expert Repair Heroes team are on hand to patch most outdoor gear be it a jacket, tent or rucksack. If there’s a hole to be patched we’ll patch it.
Advice from our Repair Heroes
“We do both heat patches and sewn patches at our Repair Stations. A heat patch is ideal for a small tear (2 inches or less) in a down or synthetic jacket, or a waterproof. For anything made from a stretch fabric or natural fibre (e.g. cotton or denim) a sewn patch would work better. Also for a more complex or larger tear, a sewn patch is going to be more robust on any fabric.
If it’s a down jacket that you need repairing, make sure to order two patches as we need to patch both the inner and outer of the jacket.
It helps us repair your kit more quickly if you can let us know specifics about what kind of patch you’re after. For example, do you want a close match, a contrast patch or have any special requests? Just pop a note in with your order.”
